In September, NEKLS is hosting a series of conversations with member libraries around the region. This is a chance to talk about what is happening in member libraries – what challenges are being faced, what trends are being noticed, etc. – as well as statewide library issues. It is also a chance for us to hear how we’re doing, and we’ll be asking for input about NEKLS services. This discussion will be helpful to us in many ways, and will inform the system plan and budget (which is voted on at Spring Assembly in April).
Librarians, trustees, and friends are invited to join our NEKLS director and consultants for an informal conversation at Atchison Public Library (401 Kansas Ave., Atchison) on Monday, September 26th, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Coffee and cookies will be served.
Please register online (or call the NEKLS office at 785-838-4090) so we know how many chairs to set up and how much coffee to brew! Just be sure to select “NEKLS Social Conversation in Atchison” from the dropdown menu when you register.
Other Social Conversations will take place throughout the month of September – so please register for the place and time that is most convenient for you. See calendar listing for details.
