I am delighted to announce the appointment, effective January 22nd, of Ryan Sipes as the new Systems Administrator for the Northeast Kansas Library System. Ryan was recently employed as Computer Services Specialist at the Midwest Data Center in Rockport, Missouri. Ryan’s responsibility will include:
- Management of internal and cloud based servers for NEKLS.
- Documentation of software and hardware systems and versions.
- Development of optimal Internet and network practices for NEKLS libraries.
- Technical support for the NExpress/Koha automation system.
Ryan is a very personable and enthusiastic individual, and I believe NEKLS librarians will enjoy working with him.
