Webinar Recap: An Online Discussion about eBooks and Public Libraries

“My head is spinning!” That was a comment received from a participant after today’s online discussion. Our goal for the webinar was to spark interesting discussion about the issues discussed in the COSLA report. 35 participants contributed to making that goal happen (several sites had multiple participants sharing one log-in). If you missed the session, but are interested, listen to the webinar and then comment on this post with your ideas about eBooks, eReaders, joining together to work with publishers and vendors, self-publishing, and potential future roles for libraries. Many, many resources and examples were shared during the session and those are shared below. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. If you have suggestions for other webinars, please share them in the comments. We’d love to hear your ideas.
